THE MATTERHORN FROM RIFFELALP

I first visited Zermatt, Switzerland in 1997. It was lovely, but I did not return again until 2023, when Tom and I hiked, rode the rails, experienced the cable cars, and I created several canvases. I loved packing my paint set and riding up the rugged and very narrow Gornergrat Railway to the Matterhorn vistas. I painted the iconic mountain from the Riffelalp stop, midway to Gornergrat. I will not sell this painting until I complete a large version.
