Slide Lake Grand Teton National Park
|Dimensions||16 × 16 in|
16″ x 16″
One of my early painting playgrounds was Grand Teton National Park of Wyoming. Across the valley to the east can be found Bridger-Teton National Park. The natural lake of Lower Slide Lake was created 1925 when the a landslide dammed the Gros Ventre River. This plein air painting was done in late summer when the yellow clover turned the color of the valley. In the distant can be seen the Tetons rising into the clouded sky.
