Above Copper Cliffs just off SR179 sits the old historic ‘Farm Market’ fruit stand. I painted here many times, with the views of the grand cottonwoods around this pull-off. The widened highway has taken away the standing point for painting, and several of these magnificent cottonwoods have aged away. I have been in Sedona a long time now, and I thought of these trees as my friends. I was sad to see them age away.
