Forgotten Stories
Oil
Last month while rummaging around the attic, I came across a box of paintings, most of them from the late 1980’s. What a wonderful surprise, I had forgotten they were up there.
During that time, there were many days of remodel to my studio and our home. Among them was this painting of an old adobe next to an ochre and yellow cottonwood and a field of dry grass and yellow topped greasewood. I was delighted to see this extraordinary painting, I had of course painted it, but I cannot remember the place, the exact year or if I was with anyone at the time. I those days I would paint the back roads around Santa Fe and Taos. If you know where this is, let me know.
