At Grand Canyon, February storms create magical moments. I love the quiet and beautiful loneliness of a winter day at the Grand Canyon. Recently, in re-organizing my catalogue raisonné for the digital world, I came to the realization most of my Grand Canyon paintings are winter related. Here, the clouds hang low over the north rim and we see the star of the show, Isis Temple with her pyramid shape and massive stone wings. Looking below, and bashfully we see the base of Cheops catching partial sun, and then even below that, we gaze into the ancient, ancient depths of the mysterious Inner Gorge.
