Mt. Rundle from Vermilion Lake
I have spent many long hours painting in the Banff region of the Canadian Rockies, my first painting trip in 1976. I have shared many great hiking/painting explorations of the area mountains and parks with good friends John and Terri Moyers. It is a short drive to The Vermillion Lakes from Banff village. Mount Rundle is perhaps Banff’s most recognizable mountain. I did this painting in late summer. Fog hangs on the mountain side.
