My mother, Mary Alice, and my father purchased this homestead in 1958. Her garden in spring is always a delight. Looking through the apricot blossoms at the century-old barns has always seemed, to me, out of character for the four corners region. The architecture and landscape of my childhood home always felt much more mid-western then southwestern. I am so lucky to have grown up there.
